Sensational Wedding at Castle Leslie Estate
Emma and Eoghan have been together for 11 years and knew each other right through school!
The couple moved to Sydney, Australia four years ago! After one year in Australia they decided to make the trip home to see their friends and families. It was during this trip home that Eoghan popped the question in the beautiful Lough Erne Resort and Spa. They were home for four weeks at the time so decided to get stuck into planning their wedding. They fell in love when they saw Castle Leslie and booked it for Summer 2021 (2 years later). Unfortunately covid happened and they got stuck in Australia for three years! They postponed the wedding for a year and reorganised everything from Sydney! Coincidentally their new wedding date turned out to be the same date that Emma’s Mum and Dad who were married 21 years ago. Their friends and family travelled from all over the world including Australia, Doha and England to celebrate with the happy couple on their special wedding day.
Emma designed her own grand wedding dress herself and had it custom made by Personalised Wedding Couture. They received a huge customs bill when they got it to the airport - but it was SO worth it. It was everything she could have imagined and more.
The dress had stunning sweetheart neckline with floral detail and the most extravagant trail.
When a little gift arrives from the groom, its a great photo opportunity. You know you are getting a touch of luxury when that distinct blue / green bag from Tiffany is presented.
What a beautiful statement piece of jewellery for your special day. Emma was absolutely over the moon.
Mum & Dad were so helpful in the morning making sure Emma was perfect for her special day whilst putting her at ease. Mum was on dress duties and Dad was on shoe duties. The ultimate Prince Charming.
Emma’s amazing Makeup Artist and skin specialist Tara Doran created a flawless and glowing look. Talented Hair Stylist Kay Burns created soft loose curls. Emma looked out of this world - she is a beautiful bride. Both Kay and Tara are influencers, teachers and creative specialists in their fields. Highly recommend both if you are looking a hairdresser or make up artist.
How special is this moment between Emma and her Father. They have a great relationship and this silly moment was captured just before leaving to go to the chapel.
Our happy groomsmen heading to the church. The boys wore classic three piece tuxedos and black patent shoes from Freddie Hatchets - they all look so handsome.
One final touch up of lipstick before heading down the aisle.
Emma could not be happier to get married - you could not wipe that beaming smile off her face.
Emma and Eoghan were married in St Malachy’s in Camlough, Newry. Throughout the service the angelic voice of Andrea Begley sang the most beautiful songs. Andrea was the winner of The Voice UK 2013. Here is a link to her singing Angel so you can enjoy her haunting tones. I have covered quite a few weddings with Andrea and every time, she gets me in the heart as soon as she starts to sing as the bride starts to walk down the aisle.
The newly weds Mr & Mrs Robb - what a fabulous couple.
We just love everything about Emma’s grand bridal look. Check out her dramatic, laced detailed veil created by Vissionary Veils which matches her dress perfectly.
Our newly weds held their wedding celebrations at Castle Leslie Estate. Castle Leslie is a stunningly beautiful and secluded estate in Co. Monaghan ideal for your wedding celebration in Ireland. Nestled on 1,000 acres of undulating Irish countryside, dotted with ancient woodlands and glittering lakes.
This venue was so fitting with their dress attire and theme. Emma’s dress was so regal and royal and the castle is so opulent.
It was such a wet wedding day but fortunately the weather dried up for literally 10 minutes when we reached Castle Leslie to capture a few gorgeous shots at the front of the building.
Emma and Robb had a Classic 1960 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud ll finished in silver from I Do Wedding Cars NI. The horse is from the castle stables. It was out for a walk and we just had to use in the photograph. It gives that Downton Abbey feel - Robb could have jumped on the horse and whisked Emma off like Mr D’Arcy.
Emma had a lot of fabric to work with when posing for photographs and she knew exactly how to handle this dress. She made moving in this dress look effortless and still managed to look so elegant whilst doing so.
Family portraits bring a family together. They are especially important for Emma and Eoghan was they live in Australia and don’t get the opportunity to do this as often - What a great memory for all.
This beautiful six tier wedding with handmade sugar flowers and piped details was was created by the amazing M&M Cakes. Flavours were Biscoff, raspberry and vanilla cream, red velvet, lemon drizzle cake and Belgian chocolate and salted caramel.
The Pavilion room within Castle Leslie is so bridal. The roof and walls are covered with drapes, fairy lights and chandaliers giving it a really magical fairytale feeling. Emma and Eoghan added their own additional touches to this stunning room such as their floral detail, signage which made the room look even more spectacular. EP Designs made their vision come to life. I could not finish without thanking Eugene - better known as The Bearded Bridesmaid. All those flowing pictures of the dress had the hands of The Bearded bridesmaid at the end throwing and blowing that fabric.
Congratulations Emma and Eoghan on your special day. I couldn't be happier for you both. May the true love you share today grow stronger as you grow old together.
