I Love You Always Forever
GALGORM HOTEL WEDDING
Lauren & Mark met 10 years ago after Mark had seen a picture of Lauren on her best friends Facebook page and their romance blossomed from there.
They had their beautiful daughter Ava 2 years later in 2015. Mark proposed in May 2018 in the most beautiful garden in Kraków. They were supposed to get married in May 2021 but decided that as they love a good party having no reception wasn’t for them so we moved it until September 2022! It also just seemed right to postpone as Lauren's Father sadly died in July 2020 after a short battle with cancer. So finally after 4 and half years of planning they finally got their special day and what a perfect day it was! When they were rescheduling and since they had waited so long, they decided to move their venue to the Galgorm Hotel. They had stayed there and had taken a photograph in the Chandelier garden. Lauren dreamed of having the same shot taken on her wedding day. We think it was a great call as she got some stunning images in the Chandelier garden just before their first dance.
On the morning of the wedding, we met up with Lauren to photograph the girls getting ready. It was a busy morning and breakfast was superb by Bobby’s Catering Events. They then prepared to get ready for the special day ahead. She had the best glam squad getting her all ready for her big day - Hair Stylist Carolann Flynn owner of The Hair Chair & Makeup Artist Grainne Kelly from Flawless Faces had our bride feeling confident and looking out of this world that morning. Highly recommend both if you are looking a Hair Stylist or Make Up Artist for your wedding or any occasion - these girls are super talented.
I absolutely love extra touches throughout a wedding which make it more personal. On our brides bouquet she added a photograph of her Dad so she had a little bit of him walking down the aisle with her.
Lauren and her daughter Ava have this most beautiful bond - they are super close and alike. The morning of the wedding Ava had fun trying on Lauren’s shoes as they got ready together. The flower girl dress was styled and bespoke to compliment her mums dress. Ava loves to dance and she was the perfect princess on the day.
Lauren wore the most beautiful lace & diamond detail Martina Liana gown from Eleganza Sposa. Her jewellery was also from Eleganza Sposa & bridal shoes were from Charlotte Mills.
Our bride & bridal team looked absolutely amazing & were finally ready for the big day ahead.
The bridesmaids wore the most stunning champagne chiffon dresess by Mila Gowns paired with shoes from Michael Kors.
They girls kept it simple but elegant with light coloured roses for their bouquet from Flowers By Karen which complimented their look beautifully.
In no time at all, it was time to leave for the ceremony and met up with Mark at St.Peter’s Cathedral.
You can always be guaranteed great craic at the boys house whilst getting ready and after. The boys enjoyed a pint of Guinness in at bar at home before getting ready for the celebrations ahead.
The groom & groomsmen looked very handsome in their three piece navy suits from Gowdy’s Menswear. Check out the sunglasses with their suits - how cool do they look?
After the ceremony we made our way to The Galgorm Resort & Spa. This is one of our favourite wedding venues and never lets us down - it has some of the most iconic and stunning surroundings for picture perfect photographs both inside and out.
Lauren & Mark were so easy to photograph - they are super in love & you can see this throughout their photographs. They truly are a beautiful couple. The second shooter for the day was Brendan Gallagher. We always work so well together particularly in very bright conditions like on this day.
This bridal party was all about about being casual and having fun during their photographs - they were all about the craic. The boys had cigars and whiskeys and we used them as a prop for some fun shots and a Peeky Blinders feel.
Claire Press created this impressive four tiered cake. Each tier had amazing detailing - it tasted just as delicious as it looked!
Remember we said they loved to party - well the entrance into the room was the highest vibe ever. They danced into the room and the dance tunes played for the first 10 minutes. The guests were on the chairs, the room was electric and the party had well and truly started. Then it was time for the speeches. No-one had expected the next bit - Laurens dad knew he was dying and would not attend the wedding. He wrote out the speech and sealed it and asked his son to read it out for him on the day. Well you can imagine - there was not a dry eye in the house.
After dinner, we headed outside to capture some stunning pictures of Lauren & Mark whilst the place was lit up. The chandelier garden was the one stipulation for the photographs. At the end of the photographs, Lauren took off her shoes - immediately Cindrella was our inspiration for these photographs and Lauren absolutely nailed it.
As the night continued, Tony Walls from The Professional DJ’s got our bride, groom & the rest of their friends and family who joined them for celebrations up on the dance floor to enjoy the rest of the night. There was glow sticks and whistles and the rave got going.
This biggest congratulations to this stunning couple. May the years ahead be filled with love and joy.
