Ibiza themed Wedding at Galgorm

Grainne & Michael were recently married in the Galgorm Resort & Spa & what a fabulous day it is. The wedding day was filled with laughter, joy and dancing from the moment the bride and groom exchanged vows. After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed a cocktail hour filled with laughter and banter. The reception was a non-stop party, with the dance floor packed all night long. It was a truly magical day that will be remembered for years to come. They had trolleys of shots going around the dance floor. The ibiza vibe was created with a saxophone player and bongos on the dance floor, glow sticks, champagne fountains flowing. This was the ultimate party wedding.

When we first arrived at Grainne’s house that morning the girls were busy with the glam squad, Hair Stylist Rose Alexis & Makeup Artist Sherean from The Hair Lounge getting ready for the day ahead with glasses of Mimosa’s in hand. The atmosphere in the house was super excited for the day ahead.

While the girls were finishing off hair and makeup we decided to head upstairs to photograph Grainne’s dress, shoes etc - We have never been so blown away by such an organised & gorgeous bridal room. When it came to details Grainne didn’t miss a thing - they were “bride” balloons, personalised hangers with name’s and dates for the bride & bridesmaids, personalised bags, a dressing table with all the accessories, jewellery and bridesmaid laid out etc - Grainne could definitely be a wedding planner.

Not long after we had finished photographing the details the girls came upstairs to capture a few shots together before getting into their dresses.

Unfortunately someone very special and important had passed away and was missing from Grainne’s special day - her Mummy. Although she couldn't be there in person for the photographs we made sure to include her by getting Grainne to blow a kiss to her photograph that morning.

Grainne’s dad Nugget was the main man that morning. When he was suited and booted for the day he made his way round to Grainne’s house to greet her at the bottom of her stairs and do a ‘First Look’ with her - he was the most proud Dad.

At Michael’s house the boys were buzzing for the day ahead. Laughter and camaraderie fill the room as they don their tailored tux’s from Red Groomsmen. The atmosphere was electric with excitement, the scent of cologne mingling with the sound of beers & champagne popping.

Now the boys were all ready and looking their best for the special day ahead it was time to head to the Church. As they waited in anticipation for the arrival of Grainne & the girls, the boys chatted, mingled and got photographs with the guests that arrived.

The Flower Barrow were the florist’s for this wedding - they are ultra ultra talented when it comes to all things floral. Grainne’s bouquet, church & rooms decor were all out of this world.

Check out Michael’s Mum looking super elegant and glamorous.

The big moment has finally arrived - it was time for Grainne to walk down the aisle & say ‘I Do’ to her soulmate. We just love this photograph of Grainne, Dad & her sister Bronagh. If you can’t tell by her face, Bronagh was the proudest sister and super excited to be by Grainne’s side to support her the whole day.

The girls all looked absolutely beautiful - makeup, hair and tan done to perfect whilst wearing the most beautiful dresses.

When Grainne & Michael said ‘I Do’ there were smiles and claps all around - everyone was genuinely so happy for them both.

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Scott!

Grainne & Michael were super in love with each other and this is very evident throughout all the photographs. Their favourite thing to do together is to sing and dance which they did all throughout their special day.

After the ceremony we headed to the stunning Galgorm Resort & Spa for the wedding celebrations - renowned for its beautiful setting which lends itself quite magically to becoming a dream Wedding location. From the unadulating lawns dotted with ancient trees which flank the driveway, to the dramatic views of the River Maine flowing alongside the main hotel there is so many places on the grounds of the hotel where we can capture the most picturesque wedding photographs.

We decided to get the Bridal Party & some family together firstly for some photographs outside Phantom House. There were a mixture of posed, candid and fun shots. This bridal party were so much fun - they were even up for doing TikTok’s & mucking about with us - we had a great laugh with them all.

We then decided to take Mr & Mrs Scott away for a quick 15 minutes to capture some photographs of them as husband and wife around the waterfalls and riverside. They really are the most beautiful couple inside & out.

Grainne & Michael then joined the rest of their guests at the drinks reception where the music was pumping and the drinks were flowing - the atmosphere was unmatched and everyone was having the most fabulous time. There was a soloist playing some traditional Irish tunes and the party was in full swing.

As always at the Galgorm, The Renaissance Suite looked incredible - Inspired by the sophistication of the Art Deco period, this is the ultimate setting for a glamorous wedding celebration. Decorated to perfection by Martina Crilly Creative Designs with florals from The Flower Barrow

When all the guests were called into the room & the bridal party made their entrance the whole room erupted and celebrated with them. There was singing, dancing, napkins being waved etc - it really did set the bar for the atmosphere the rest of the evening.

Later that evening we decided to take Grainne & Michael outside whilst all the magical fairy lights lit up the gardens of the Galgorm for a few more shots before they danced the night away. Michael was looking a bit more relaxed and Grainne had changed into dress number 2 which was super sexy - this shots give me Old School Gangster Vibes.

Grainne & Michael along with their nearest and dearest then danced the rest of the night away. There was a champagne fountain, a shots trolley - it really was a proper party ready.

Congratulations again guys - Thanks for letting us be part of your special day, it truly was fantastic and a pleasure to be a part of. Wishing you many years of happiness, joy, good memories and plenty of more dancing together. Look forward to catching up with you soon.
