Miracle baby arrives during covid…
In the month of June, this beautiful couple choose The Devenish as their wedding venue.
Claire and Jackie were due to be married in 2021 but due to covid happening this changed their plans. Their original wedding was planned for the Millbrook Lodge in Ballynahinch however plans changed when they received the very exciting news that they were due a miracle baby during covid. After two years of uncertainty, they decided to change their wedding venue to The Devenish in order to keep it local for their number one priority, baby Darcy. The wedding may have been a long time coming but it was everything they could have imagined and more.
Claire had two stunning dresses to wear on her special day from Reflections Bridal in Lisburn. One dress for the day time and one for the evening - WOW. The floral bouquet was created by Flowers R Us.
The Bride and Groom looking elegant and classy getting ready to walk down the isle of St Pauls Church to become husband and wife.
The bride wore the most elegant silk dress with a diamond detail band whilst the groom wore a slick tux. No doubt, she took the groom’s breath away walking down the isle.
For the first time ever we had the privilege of celebrating two sacraments within one day - Claire and Jackie’s Wedding & Darcie’s baptism. What a special day for such a beautiful family!
The newly weds and their bridal party then set off to the Falls Park for some photographs.
The boys enjoyed a picnic in the park along with some beers while the girls were hard at work getting their photographs taken.
The boys were the biggest bunch of messers and the best of craic so there was plenty of fun and laughter throughout getting the photos.
The happy couple then headed back to The Devenish Hotel to meet with their nearest and dearest to celebrate the rest of their special day.
The bride and groom paid special attention to detail when decorating their perfect room. The floral details and lettering made perfect props for the photos.
