The beautiful Kerriann & Jonathan loved the TV series, Peaky Blinders, so when it came to planning their special day, they based it on their favourite show. Featuring a 1920’s power couple, gangster groomsmen & stunning bridesmaids this wedding oozes all the glitz and glam of an extravagant Gatsby party.
Kerriann and Jonathan had The Garrison Bar recreated at the front reception doors of the Renaissance Suite within The Galgorm Resort & Spa. This room was so perfect and so fitting with their theme as it is an elegantly furnished lounge with 1920's champagne bar and solid marble statement fireplace. This was where the drink’s reception was held for the guests where they were offered 25 year old whiskeys and specialty gins.

Kerriann’s breathe taking wedding gown by Kleinfield Bridal New York , is simply out of this world. There is SO much detail within this dress - the open back, the lace and bead detail, and epic train which gives it that extra WOW factor. We have fallen head over heels with her choice of Jimmy Choo bridal shoes which compliment the dress beautifully!
How pure is this reaction from the bridemaids getting a first glimpse at the bride in her dress all ready to go. What an absolutely gorgeous once in a life time moment captured with emotions filling the room.
The bridesmaids dresses from really fitted in with the Gatsby theme. They wore blush gowns with beading detail and a dropped waist. They wore diamanté hair pieces which complimented the dresses. Such an elegant and opulent look!
The boutiques created by Flowers by Mee were a stunning mixture of seasonal roses, gypsophila and fluffy pampas. Each boutique was hand tied with a dramatic black bow.
The traditional church ceremony was held at St Patrick’s Church in Moira by Fr. McGuinness with one very happy bride and groom.
The married couple then set off to The Galgorm Resort & Spa to start their wedding celebrations. Like most couples Kerriann and Jonathan wanted a unique wedding venue for their day with great food and breath taking settings. Wedding photography around The Galgorm is filled with some many photo opportunities with its beautiful and magical settings. From the lawns dotted with ancient trees which flank the driveway, to the dramatic views of the River Maine flowing alongside the main hotel.
This venue truly believes in the magic of weddings and reflects this by ensuring the setting, level of service and support you receive are second to none. This is where their truly unforgettable love story begins.
Kerriann’s loving gaze at her new husband reflecting kindness and appreciation. Eye contact is an intimate act, so intense eye contact can be very meaningful.
The groomsmen found the perfect suits for the theme at Freddie Hatchet. Pairing gray, navy and brown three-piece suits with thick vintage stripes the boys looked the part. Essential to complete any men’s outfit is the famous flat cap synonymous with the drama. They also styled their outfits with pocket watches to finish off their look and fit in with the theme.
Angela Nesbitt, the Mother of the Bride decorated and styled the room according to the theme. The room was styled in opulent gold, black and white combo. The table details are gorgeous with gold cutlery with gold-rimmed glasses. The enterance of the room was filled with cigarette holders and lots of gatsby inspired props. The detail and personal touches that were put into decorating this room were second to none. Angela did a superb job in turning the room into a roaring 20’s celebration.
