Ink, roses and priceless moments at Ballyduggan Mill
Our groom Ryan is a passionate tattooer at Stay Gold Tattoo. He is beyond talented and creates some amazing work as seen our his stunning wife Daina.
Daina and Ryan wanted a timeless wedding that was elegant but also reflected them. They got married on the stunning grounds of Ballydugan Mill - a beautifully restored 18th Century Flour Mill, just outside Downpatrick, full of unique charm and character. On the evening of their wedding, Celti did the evening entertainment in the courtyard.
Instead of having a first dance, Dania and Ryan did things a little different - they tattoo’ed each other on the dance floor instead. This wedding was the perfect mix of alternative and traditional.
The talented Caoimhe at CM Studios created this stunning bridal makeup for Dania. Daina is really into makeup herself so she knew exactly what she wanted. Crimpers did a superb job at creating a fabulous half up hairstyle with soft curls.
Dania has the most infectious smile and incredible eyes. How beautiful is she?
Daina wore an open back, lace embellished dress from Peony Bridal. The detail in this dress is incredible. Her veil was subtle but elegant - this was perfect not to draw attention away from her dress.
Ryan with his beautiful mum Cara McCann. Cara provides harp, guitar and vocals at wedding and funeral services. We shot Cara’s wedding to Amanda a few years back. Check out her beaming smile and how proud she is to be helping her son get ready for his big day.
Our groom Ryan with his two groomsmen, Aaron & Caoimhin looking very dapper and handsome. The wore a navy green checked suit adding a pop of colour in with the mustard ties, dicky bows and handkerchief.
The bride and her beautiful bridesmaids Hannah, Leonie and Rachel. The girls wore rich gold chiffon dresses with metallic gold detail finished with a satin waist band.
The bride completed her look with a bunch of seasonal roses mixed with some gyp from Lily’s Florist. They also provided the bridesmaids bouquet of gyp.
Daina and her Nanny Iris have the most beautiful bond - they are super close. Iris played a huge part in the wedding. She helped Daina to get ready for her big day that morning then also walked her down the aisle.
On the morning of the wedding Nanny Iris also gave Daina the most beautiful pedant of her late Granda. This was the most special personal touch to add to her flowers. It meant that she had a bit of her Granda with her on her wedding day.
Throughout the day you could truly just see how much love Ryan & Daina have for each other. They are bestfriend’s and soul mates rolled into one.
