Beechill Wedding in Autumn

Weddings at Beechill Country House Hotel are always so picturesque. Our beautiful couple Marie and Patrick, met through Marie being a Psychic Medium. Patrick asked her to do a reading for him as they had mutual friends and was curious about it all. Marie did a reading for Patrick - he felt a connection instantly, asked her out on a few dates and their romance blossomed from there. It wasn’t long after they both where locked up together though covid and started a hobby farm. They both fell in love pretty quickly. Patrick knew Marie was the one and asked her to marry him at Gleno Waterfall after 18 months of being together and of course she said YES! They got married a year later 22.10.22 on Marie’s Nanny’s anniversary and Patrick's Granny’s birthday and had the best day ever.

We met up with Marie on the morning of her special day and were greeted with a very happy bridal party - They were all great fun and very excited for the day ahead. The glam squad were already at work making the girls feel their best. The fantastic DJ Griffin created a soft glam look on her with the most flawless base - she looked absolutely incredible. Hair Stylist Aoife Ferguson created full voluminous bun with soft loose curls to frame her face and added a pearl & diamond headpiece for a bit of sparkle.

Once hair & make up was finished, Marie then slipped into her stunning gown from Perfect Day with the help from one of her very helpful bridesmaids.

We then met up with the boys who were also looking forward to the big day ahead. They were dressed in very regal, navy blue suits from North End Mens topped off the flat caps from Next. We then left the boys house to travel to Hannahstown Parish were they were getting married.

As always, the boys entertained us with their banter. Patrick took everything in his stride and used the time to chat with his guests until his beautiful bride to be arrived.

The big moment had finally arrived - Marie’s very proud Mum gave her away down the aisle and it was time for Marie & Patrick to make their vows to become husband & wife.

it is lovely to see Fr Devlin back in a local chapel. I love his authenticity and character. I met him in Marks and Spencers this week and he guided me to all the best bargains. Thanks for that Father.

Our newly weds held their wedding celebrations at Beech Hill Country House. This is beautiful reception where you can have your ceremony in the forest, drinks reception overlooking the lake, canapés in the their beautiful Georgian lounge & evening celebrations in the Garden Pavilion. After the ceremony, we headed there to got a bit of alone time with Marie & Patrick to capture some photographs as husband & wife - they are both very much in love and we captured some romantic moments between them both.

Marie & Patrick have 2 precious dogs and they were included in the shots throughout the day. They attended both the service and the reception. A girl was there to mind the dogs all day and they were put up in a dog friendly room. What a fabulous idea - you can have your fur babies at your wedding. They were great entertainment for the children all day.

I love this shot of the dog licking Marie’s face. They say never work with animals or children - dogs just do what dogs do and lick the face of their owners, although we got lovely formal shots, as a dog lover, this is my favourite.

I am a lover of the autumn, all the colours that are bold and homely - as we were shooting the radiant leaves danced from the branch to the ground creating the perfect autumn setting.

Although Marie originally came from Belfast, she moved to the country and is now surrounded by goats and chickens and lots of animals. They wanted to incorporate the country theme into their wedding and got all the bridal party Hunter Wellies as it was autumn time. They were a great fun bunch and we just loved the shots with the Wellies on as it was so different and quirky.

Ultimate touches paid special attention to detail when decorating the perfect room - The roof and walls are covered with drapes, fairy lights and chandaliers giving it a really magical fairytale feeling.

Marie & Patrick entered the room absolutely buzzing after the most fantastic day surrounded by all their family. They hit the dance floor for their first dance and continued the night celebrating with their nearest and dearest.

Congratulations to this beautiful couple on their special day. Here's to a long and happy marriage!
